Santa Claus made a grand entrance at the final scene, and the children were delighted to see that he made it and was already in Houston in plenty of time to get the gifts ready for Christmas day. Happy Holidays to all, and a prosperous New Year from Mr. Dominguez, Faculty and Staff. |

Hush for Haiti Project - Jan. 26, 2010
Mrs. Iniguez had an idea - help the people of Haiti and lead her students by example. During the week of Stanford testing, quiet was enforced by a fine of one cent per infraction, money to be donated to the American Red Cross for the Haiti relief fund. Her idea went school-wide and ended with a special Fox News broadcast and presentation by guest speaker, MacArthur Pierre-Louis, former Garcia educator and practicing attorney who was born in Haiti. Showing pictures, slides and memorabilia of his childhood touched everyone's heart. It was a terrific experience we will not forget. See the STUDENTS page for a podcast by 5th grade students.
